In the most remote and beautiful sceneries of England, Scotland, Ceylon and Argentina, over five generations of our family have shared life
with horses.
It dates back to the late 1800’s, Auntie Mab used to ride her side-saddle with her niece Edith, my grandmother, who taught Virginia how to ride at
a very young age.
Virginia Duthie was my mother, one of the strongest, most caring and loving women I’ve ever met.
At 8 years old, she would ride her Argentine Polo Alazan from Hurlingham to Bella Vista, Province of Buenos Aires. By the age of 13 she was
giving jumping lessons.
In her early 20’s, she lead the first and only female polo team of Argentina, at Hurlingham Club. Her last all female tournament would be 30
years later, at El Metejon Polo Ranch, in 2002.
My brother Shawn and I grew up surrounded by horses, we developed a rather unique and caring connection with these magnificent creatures. It
comes as no surprise that he became a terrific polo player, and is passing his passion on to my beautiful nieces and son.
Horses and Family have always been our core.
For the last 20 years, my mother has dedicated her life to developing a lifestyle saddlery business, with great passion and joyfulness. It was only
natural for her to become friends with suppliers and customers across the globe.
Today, we honor her by continuing her legacy, one of horses, family and love.
